ugh.
sorry I had to cancel the show tonight but
a lot of shit went down.
alty told me they werent gonna' play so I Was like k fine whatever.
then nick called and told me mikes band and their friends band couldnt play so I'm like fuck this all.
so I had to put it off.
PLUS... it's still soaking wet in my backyard. At least 5 people called and said YO BRO ITS SO NICE OUT
but if you've been in my backyard then you know that it is covered by trees.
and that shit drips.
so it's being postponed.
which fuckin' sucks.
I hope you had a terrific night otherwise.

just lotsa shit went down.
and maybe some people will let me know if their friends bands aren't gonna' fucking play a little earlier next time.
that pissed me off a LOT.

for all you planning on coming to my backyard show (may7)...
keep in mind you'll be on property owned by a government official.
I'm not bragging, I'm just saying...
don't start shit.
if you bring your drugs, all the straightedge kids will probably kick your ass.
I know a few asians who are pretty good with their kicks, too.
if you decide to fight because that's "scene" now.
I'm not cleaning up your blood, nor am I taking responsibility.
Dance as much as you feel like it.
But don't come complaining to me if you get hit.
that's why it's a good idea to not stand by where the people are dancing and having a good time.
(Oh, I can't do it on the grass area. Just not happening with those neighbors on that side)
Keep in mind we do have neighbors.
and a small backyard.
There are gonna' be a lot more kids this time than there were last time.
So just deal.
I don't want complaints.
or people invading my house again.
Last time was a fucking amazing time.
If you wanna' see more backyard shows, don't fuck it up for yourselves.
other than that stuff, have the best time in life.
and yes, it is possible to have a good time without drugs, fists, and blood.

here's a lengthy entry for the kids!
last night was fuckin' sick. times four. oh mannn.
First my guitar teacher dragged out my lesson till forever and I still had to get ready to go to the Trivium signing so that pissed me offff like woah.
so then Brian came while my teacher was STILL there and I'm like okay dude I'm peacing. So he finally left and I got ready supersuper fast and we were off!
So we went to Looney Tunes and on our way there we saw an old lady driving this fuckin' old peice of crap bright yellow car and to top that off, she had a W04 sticker on it. Her liscense plate also said "THIS IS OUR GRANDMA" at the bottom. How lame. I hope when I have grandkids they don't put a thing on my car that says, "THIS IS OUR GRANDMA." ew. And ew that W04 sticker just made it worse.
So we finally got to looneytunes and no one was outside or anything so we decided to go into the annex. Derrick from The Modern works there and was all, "Yo I gotta play you this song from Ben Folds. He wrote it about Elliott Smith." So I was like SWEET. I didn't really listen to it hard but it seemed pretty fuckin' awesome.
We looked through lots of cd's. There's a lot of backstreetboys and nsync and 2gether in there. Damn. So I came across a Billy Idol CD and Brian found a From First To Last CD and let me take that. So I bought those two and Derrick only charged me for one of them which was the best. Even though the CDs in the annex are only $1.99 it was awesome.
So after Brian bought 30000000 cd's we went into the real store and it was empty and Trivium was just sitting there. I guess people were just coming and going throughout the signing and whatnot. So we met 'em and stuff it was awesome. They're real nice dudes. Nicer than I expected.
Then last-minute we decided to go to the Trivium/Chimaira show. Which I had barely enough money for so thank the lord Derrick only charged me for one CD.
The show was fuckin' sick. Not violent where I was at all. Trivium was amazing. the end!

I miss obsessing over bands. I really do. As pathetic as it sounds, haha. The last time I actually full on LOVED a band was bright eyes last year. I don't even consider him a band, though. gosh. wtf is with music these days!

today was weird.
I really do hate benson a lot, no joke.
I really do love elliott smith, a lot, though, no joke.
I am totally wearing a HAPPY PASSOVER shirt to the trivium instore at looney tunes (which I am going to with brian because he is cool and we're gonna buy a tractor and send it to pimp my ride. yo x to the z.) ... (I think kathryn is going to be there too.) and any other spur of the moment shows I go to that week. HAH. It'll rule. I swear. Why? Because I'm elana, that's why.
HAH. here's a funny thing. this'll really get ya. I just mentioned Elliott Smith and Trivium within the same post. That really gets me going. hah. wow.

IT'S BACK MOTHAFUCKAZ.
yupyup, I'm talking about Backyard Shows. fuckin' sick, it's been a while. lineup will be announced soon. pretty much every band in hsw and then some. May 7. if you're in a band then fucking leave me a comment because we kinda need you.
the only thing is, nick suggested we charge this time. I don't know. I'm not into that idea but whatever, just be prepared. I'm just remembering Brandon's backyard show and they charged and we decided not to go in and then vinny was like "Yo just come in." then Dylan said "Danielle should have to pay."
but anyway, we went in without paying. it was just kinda weird that they let people in without paying and then made others pay. though I didn't complain getting in for free at the time ;-)
oh and last time (wayyy back in october) I heard some asian kids were invading my kitchen. that's awesome, but if you feel so inclined to do so- please let me know. thanks.
oh and someone left a really expensive tuner here from last time so if it's yours then fucking get it out of my house.
